As a scale-up, CodeSharp bridges the gap between organization (mostly international multinationals) and employees in a digital workplace platform. They support various areas of work, with HRM currently the main focus.
In practice, this means, for example, a new employee portal that completely supports employees in making an application for a new employee, right down to publishing a job posting and even signing a contract digitally. Because enterprise environments are complex and highly diverse, they offer custom features and integrations in addition to a well-developed platform.
CODE SHARP CASE
CodeSharp finds that larger organizations (1,500+ employees) run into an efficiency and ease-of-use problem when it comes to tooling and systems for their employees. Over the years, a cluttered nexus of systems, which also differ from one another in ease of use and intuitiveness, is created at the expense of job satisfaction and especially efficiency.
From this came the idea to develop a portal in which the employee has all the information at hand to do his or her job, without having to switch systems and in terms of look&feel adapted to the corporate identity of the organization.
advance in saas solutions
Team Rockstars assists Codesharp in its challenge to grow as a provider of SaaS solutions in multiple markets for small and large businesses.
To remain flexible, CodeSharp has invested in working with the software professionals at Team Rockstars IT. In this, properly applying microservices has been a key decision to pave a way for future innovation. As complexity is moved to the architecture, the applications themselves can remain simpler.
According to Jouke Mandemaker (CTO), microservices are key for now to keep innovating. Indeed, applications are then no longer dependent on each other. This provides CodeSharp with important business benefits:
- Offer new features to your customers faster due to a short time 2 market;
- Reuse many microservices in new applications;
- Developers write a new microservices with specific functionalities within a day without long familiarization time: time = money.
By establishing a technical foundation around the agile working methodology, Codesharp’s platform enables them to build and release new features for their end customers very quickly. And because the applications run in the microservices architecture in the Azure cloud, they cannot affect each other, so there is minimal disruption.
CODESHARP X TEAM ROCKSTARS IT
Working with microservices does present infra challenges. Fortunately, CodeSharp has been tackling those recently along with Team Rockstars IT. By setting up automatic deployment properly, they are currently able to do as many as 40 releases a day. These releases go directly into the Azure cloud platform. When connecting large new customers, they scale quickly via the Azure Cloud Platform without needing specific knowledge, expertise or hardware.
In this digital transformation, Team Rockstars IT is a technical sparring partner supporting CodeSharp in this innovation. According to Jouke (CTO), Team Rockstars IT has played an important role in the transition from monolith to microservices. Because Team Rockstars IT has experience with similar proven cases thanks to their “lessons learned,” they were able to give CodeSharp important input.
future x innovation
Codesharp looks forward immensely to making a lot of impact with their small dynamic teams! By making innovation central to their architecture, they can continue to innovate quickly with specialists. After all, as a techie, you still want to keep working with the latest stack, said CTO Jouke Mandemaker. This in turn benefits our end users.
According to Jouke (CTO), Microservices are key for now to keep innovating so that applications no longer depend on each other.
