Rockstar Interview
For this project, an Outlook plugin was created that is an extension to the software “mSafe,” which Motiv offers. MSafe is a secure file exchange platform. That is, a person can share files with another person through this platform. This is done through many encryptions in both logging in and storing and sharing files. IT Rockstar Bryan’s role was to develop a plugin where people could use mSafe via outlook. Just as someone adds a file as an attachment to an email, this can now be done through the mSafe outlook connect plugin. In addition, Bryan provided support on other projects (small and large) as needed.
WHY DID YOU CHOOSE THIS PROJECT?
I chose this project because I really liked the company culture and the way I was allowed to work as a novice developer fit exactly what I was looking for. I was told that I would be well guided during my first project, and that eventually proved to be true.

Microsoft visual studio, C#, javascript, HTML, Webforms, asp.net, css, typescript, jQuery, MVC, MVP, powershell, IIS, T-SQL, SQL Server
WHAT ARE YOU MOST PROUD OF WITHIN THIS PROJECT?
The plugin is fully customizable and configurable through a Motiv configuration site. Furthermore, it is fully integrated within Motiv’s file upload system, which was also a nice challenge.
WHAT DID THE PROJECT DELIVER TO THE TARGET AUDIENCE/USER?
The user of this plugin can now send attachments via email in a secure manner.
WHAT DID YOU LEARN IN THE PROJECT?
I mainly learned how C# works, since I had not worked with it before.
