The role in a nutshell
As Legal Counsel at Team Rockstars IT, you will be the legal rock for our headquarters. You will provide a wide range of legal support and work closely with various departments to ensure that all our processes and contracts are legally watertight. We are looking for someone for this role for 16 – 20 hours per week. Your responsibilities will include:
- Contract Management: Drafting, reviewing and negotiating various contracts with clients, partners and suppliers.
- Legal Advice: Advising management and teams on a variety of legal issues, including labor law, corporate law and privacy laws.
- Compliance: Ensuring compliance with relevant laws and regulations and implementing legal best practices within the organization.
- Risk Management: Identify and mitigate legal risks and proactively propose solutions.
- Collaboration with specialized lawyers: You have access to a network of specialized lawyers, so you can always spar and get support on complex legal issues.
Most importantly, we believe: balance is key. You must be able to balance like a pro between covering legal risks and the speed and ambition in which our business moves.
This is where you recognize yourself
You are a proactive and pragmatic lawyer with a hands-on mentality. In addition, you bring the following:
- A completed college or university degree in Dutch Law.
- At least 3 years of relevant work experience as a lawyer or in-house counsel, preferably within the IT sector.
- We are looking for someone to fill this role for 16 to 20 hours per week.
- Excellent knowledge of contract law, labor law and privacy laws (AVG).
- Strong communication skills and ability to explain complex legal matter clearly to non-lawyers.
- An independent work ethic, but also a team player who enjoys working together.
