Rockstar tech networks

Tech Networks are communities of people with the same technical interests within Team Rockstars. At the moment there are eleven different networks, but this number may change, as IT Rockstars itself can take the initiative to start a new network. An example of this is that in addition to a Cloud, Java and Microsoft network, for example, we recently started a Platform Engineering network.

Knowledge sharing is central within the communities. But because, in addition to Mastery, Connection also contributes to your job satisfaction, the networks are also a great way to get to know other IT Rockstars as well as the people you work with on a project.

If you join Team Rockstars then the network leads (from the networks that best fit your role) will approach you in your first month to ask if you want to become part of the network. But of course, you can also choose that your interests are broader than just your formal role, and sign up for more networks.

If you don’t just want to become part of a network, but you like organizing things yourself on behalf of a network, you can also choose to become a network lead! Then you can help organize offline events (including conferences at home and abroad), post in the MyTeamRockstars app, suggest trainings for other people with the same expertise for our Rockademy, and keep Tech Screening cases up to date. You don’t do this alone, of course. You will work with your fellow Network Leads, with our community lead Sjoerd Kuijten and with our Chief Mastery Officer Mirjam van Olst.
