Rockstar tech networks

Tech Networks are communities of people with similar technical interests within Team Rockstars. Currently there are eleven different networks, but this number may change, as Rockstars themselves can take the initiative to start a new network. An example of this is that in addition to a Cloud, Java and Microsoft network, for example, we recently started a Platform Engineering network.

Knowledge sharing is central within the communities. But since not only Mastery but also Connection contributes to your job satisfaction, the networks are also a great way to get to know other Rockstars in addition to the people you are working with on a project.

If you join Team Rockstars, the network leads from the networks that best fit your role will approach you in your first month to ask if you would like to become part of the network. But of course you can also choose to broaden your interests beyond your formal role and join more networks.

Now if you don’t just want to become part of a network, but you like organizing things yourself for a on behalf of a network then you can also choose to become a network lead! Then you can help organize offline events (including conferences at home and abroad), post in the MyTeamRockstars app, suggest content for other people with the same expertise for our Rockademy, and keep Tech Screening cases up to date. You don’t do this alone, of course. You work together with your fellow Network Leads, with our community lead Sjoerd Kuijten and with our CMO Mirjam van Olst.
