as a security analyst

As a Security Analyst, you are our clients’ digital watchdog. Your goal: to stay ahead of cybercriminals, keep systems secure and protect organizations from digital threats. You do this by continuously monitoring, quickly responding to incidents and setting smart policies.

what you could do

Monitoring & Detection

  • Monitor networks, systems and applications with SIEM tools.
  • Analyze logs and alerts to identify suspicious activity early.
  • Recognize threats such as malware, DDoS and data breaches before they impact.
  • Continuously improve and recalibrate detection rules and processes.

Incident Response

  • Immediately investigate incidents, determine impact and deploy appropriate measures.
  • Coordinate containment, eradication and recovery.
  • Collaborate with forensic specialists to fully understand attacks and prevent recurrence.

Risk Analysis & Security Policy

  • Identify vulnerabilities within the IT infrastructure.
  • Perform risk analyses and translate them into concrete security recommendations.
  • Establish, maintain and improve policies, standards and procedures.

Penetration Testing & Vulnerability Management

  • Perform or coordinate pen tests to expose vulnerabilities.
  • Prioritize findings and advise on patches and mitigations.
  • Ensure a closed vulnerability management cycle.

Awareness & Training

  • Organize security awareness programs and realistic simulations (e.g., phishing tests).
  • Advise IT teams and management on best practices and strategy.
  • Compliance & Regulatory Affairs
  • Ensure compliance with relevant standards and legislation (including AVG/GDPR, ISO 27001, NIST).
  • Clear reporting on risks, measures and compliance to stakeholders.

You have a completed college or university education

Preferably in cybersecurity or software engineering.

at least 2 years of experience

as a security analyst

Command of Dutch language

You speak and write Dutch well, as you often interact with Dutch-speaking customers.

Knowledge of endpoint, application and network security, among others

and experience in using xDR solutions.

Vulnerability Management, monitoring tools & detection methods

In this you have demonstrable experience

You possess at least one valid security certification in a technical field

For example, OSCP, GCIH, GMON, GCIA, AWS Certified Security, Microsoft Certified: Azure Security Engineer

You have experience with SIEM/SOAR tools

such as Splunk, Elastic or Sentinel.

You have knowledge of one or more information security standards

such as ISO27001, NIS2, CRA, etc.
