As a Security Officer, you will be responsible for ensuring information security at our clients. You will develop, implement and maintain policies, procedures and systems that protect the confidentiality, integrity and availability of information. You are the central point of contact for all security-related issues and connect business and IT.

You could start doing this as an information security officer:

  • Policy & governance: establish and update security policies, standards and guidelines.

  • Procedures & assurance: implement practical procedures and secure compliance in the organization.

  • Risk management: conduct periodic risk assessments and plan mitigations.

  • Incident management: coordinate response, analyze causes and prevent recurrence.

  • Compliance & audits: comply with AVG/GDPR and ISO 27001, among others; prepare and follow up on audits.

  • Technology & roadmap: select/implement appropriate security solutions and monitor the roadmap.

Who you are

Nobody fits all the boxes, but if you come very close to a perfect score you may call immediately!

Minimum 3 years of experience

in information security

Experience developing and implementing security policies

and security procedures

Risk assessment experience

and incident management

Thorough knowledge of security principles

and security methods and techniques.

You have knowledge of one or more information security standards

such as ISO27001, NIS2, CRA, etc.

You possess at least one valid security certification

For example: CSSP, CISM, CCSP or C/CISO
