As a Data Platform Engineer

You lay the foundation on which driven organizations can build their products. You think in ecosystems, automate everything loose and know how to develop and keep a scalable, secure and robust data platform up and running.

Your work has a direct impact on business goals and makes life easier for data scientists, analysts and engineers. No individual components, but a whole that fits together.

To give you an idea of your responsibilities:

  • Design and build scalable, cloud-native data platforms
  • Setting up CI/CD, monitoring and security within data architectures
  • Working with Azure, AWS and tools such as Terraform, Python, Spark, dbt, Kafka, Airflow and Snowflake
  • Structuring and optimizing data pipelines, lakehouses and feature stores
  • Link with BI, ML and analytics teams for maximum impact
