As a Data Engineer at Team Rockstars IT, you can become the driving force behind data-driven decision-making at top clients such as Rabobank, ASML, TenneT and ABN AMRO. You ensure that data is available, reliable and usable. All in a scalable, future-proof manner.

You are a master at processing raw data, building smart structures and/or architectures. With this, you deliver as much business impact as possible. Whether it’s building a streaming pipeline in Azure, setting up a lakehouse architecture or optimizing your orchestration – you know what it takes to make it right.

What you could do with us:

  • Design, build and maintain data pipelines and platforms (cloud-native)
  • Modeling and integrating datasets from different sources (batch/streaming)
  • Automating data processing and monitoring for reliability and scalability
  • Collaborate in data-driven teams with data scientists, ML engineers, analysts and stakeholders to realize insights
  • Getting started with tools like Spark, Databricks, DBT, Snowflake, Kafka, Airflow or BigQuery (you choose what works)

Who you are

You are not just another data engineer. You are a Data Rockstar. Someone who looks beyond the code alone, dares to ask questions, challenges the status quo and wants to build solutions that make a real difference.

Minimum 3 years of experience

As a Data Engineer or in a similar role

Command of Dutch language

You speak and write Dutch well, as you often interact with Dutch-speaking customers.

Azure, AWS or GCP experience

Experience with cloud platforms

python & SQL experience

and preferably also with tools like Spark, Airflow, dbt or Kafka

sense of data architecture

and Security and Governance
