A brief introduction – Team Rockstars Data

Ambition is literally one of our core values, we want to keep learning in order to keep developing ourselves, to be able to offer colleagues (growth) prospects and, of course, to take customers further on the arm in their digital dreams. This made Team Rockstars decide three years ago to start a completely new Data label from July 2022, in addition to a Software branch (consisting of 10 chapters with about 50 IT Rockstars per chapter). The energy is now well in place and we are well on our way to reach the 100 Rockstars milestone. With that reason, we are looking for a new talent manager for our label.

That data is the new gold is well known, but every day we hear our clients struggle with the practical question “how do I bridge the gap between data I have and then extract useful information from it?”. Our Data label supports clients in solving the above question, by setting up the client’s data landscape in such a way that they can make data-driven decisions that seamlessly align with their business issues. Will you help us connect the very best Data Engineers, Machine Learning Engineers and Data Scientists to us and ensure that they too go to the most challenging jobs every day with a smile and feel connected to our vibrant community?

This is what energizes you

You can compare this role to that of an artist manager; you take everything off their hands so the Data Rockstar can focus on what they do best. After an induction period, you will manage a group of Data Rockstars in the East region. In this role you will use your social skills and management talent to connect the Data Rockstars to our label and manage them to a higher level. A happy Rockstar is the goal! So it is important that you get energy from helping people further in their development (both soft skills and technical), do not shy away from feedback and dare to make decisions.

You will be working in the Data label with a cool HQ team consisting of talent managers, recruiters and account managers. Energy and passion for helping people advance in their careers and development is at the heart of our work. You will work closely with your fellow talent managers to spar about situations, but also with the account managers on the assignments of the Data Rockstars in your region. To promote this cooperation, you work (at least) 2 days a week at our office in Den Bosch. The other days you alternate visiting clients, Rockstars and other offices with your home office (if desired). You realize, in collaboration and in project form, various professionalization and improvement initiatives and ensure that our Data label grows along with our ambitions. In this way you will build our label and your own region within that label.

As Talent Manager of the very best professionals in the Data world, you will ensure that our Data Rockstars are happy in the broadest sense of the word. Our stars naturally change the world under the best conditions. You are their first point of contact within the organization and jump in for them! After all, the best for the Data Rockstars is the best for everyone! Fortunately, you don’t have to do this alone, because within Team Rockstars there are plenty of other specialized colleagues you can fall back on. You help take your group of Data Rockstars to the next level.

You do this by, among other things:

  • Guiding the Rockstars in their career and challenging them on ambition and associated development goals, derg conversations you conduct every 2-3 months.
  • You visit your Rockstars at his or her client’s house, go for a walk or get together for a cup of coffee or a nice lunch, you decide what is best for your Rockstar at that moment.
  • In addition, you will put the 9+ experience of our Rockstars central by working on community building at the regional level. You will do this by, among other things, ensuring that collaboration days take place in your region, by connecting Rockstars who are with the same client and by supporting the organization of knowledge events such as our famous Data Rocks.
  • In addition, of course, you have sincere attention to life-changing events of our Rockstars at all times.

In addition to interacting with the Data Rockstars, you have an important role in client contact. You will conduct regular feedback conversations between the client and Rockstar to take the collaboration to the next level. We expect a solid interlocutor, with genuine interest in our Rockstarts’ field of work at the client, who seeks to help the Data Rockstars move forward from a constructive, forward-looking vision.

This is where you recognize yourself

  • The most important thing for us is that you, as a talent manager, get excited about helping people move forward, that you have a genuine interest in their development, that you go the extra mile and that you really want the best for the people in your team;
  • Minimum 4 years of work experience;
  • Experience in field or people management;
  • You connect easily and adapt effortlessly when the situation calls for it;
  • Results-oriented, creative, a true multi-tasker, enthusiastic, stress-resistant and proactive;
  • A solid interlocutor in any company;
  • Minimum of a college degree;
  • 32-40 hours available;
  • Flexible with regard to travel and working hours (for example, joining an occasional evening knowledge-sharing session is no problem)

We will continue to build a community of awesome Data-Rockstars who are going to change the digital world of today and tomorrow and for that they need to be “serviced” on top of their game by the best IT agency in the Netherlands: Team Rockstars Data!

  • Salary range of ± €3,500 – ± €5,250, gross per month based on a 40-hour work week;
