With a team of over 550 selected Software Developers we build IT solutions for our customers and with our 100 HQ (headquarter) colleagues we make all our ambitions and dreams come true (think acquisitions and abroad). Brief introduction:

My name is Bart Nijskens (36 years young, burgundy and living in Vught with my family), 9 years ago I stood together with Laurens Simone and Tijs Luijbregts at the cradle of a new concept in the world of IT Consultancy. What we didn’t know then is that we would turn the world of Software Development in the Netherlands upside down and that we would put 600 colleagues in yellow/black in 9 years. What we did know at the kickoff is that we wanted to build a company where the very best people (we don’t call them Rockstars for nothing) would work with a smile. Now 9 years later, that motto “Happy Developer, High Impact” is still in effect, something we are very proud of and enormously energized by! If you ask me, this definitely tastes like more, after all, we have only just started and are now completely on the loose with a new label that is making a name for itself in the world of Data.

Ambition

Ambition is literally one of our core values, we want to keep learning in order to keep developing ourselves, to be able to offer colleagues (growth) perspectives and of course to be able to take customers further on the arm in their digital dreams. This made Team Rockstars decide two years ago to start a completely new Data label from July 2022, in addition to a Software branch (consisting of 10 chapters with about 50 IT Rockstars per chapter). We are now energized and have gained some 50 talents. Phase one is now complete, but we are ready to start rocking phase two as well, to about 200 Data stars in the Netherlands.

That data is the new gold is well known, but every day we hear our clients struggle with the practical question “how do I bridge the gap between data I have and then extract useful information from it? Our new label supports clients in solving the above question, by setting up the client’s data landscape in such a way that they can make data-driven decisions that seamlessly fit their business issues. Will you help us connect the very best Data Engineers, Machine Learning Engineers and Technical Scientists and ensure that they too go to the most challenging jobs every day with a smile and feel connected to a vibrant community?

What does a random week look like?

It’s Monday morning, rise and shine baby, because another week’s impact may be made. While enjoying a freshly tapped cup of Nespresso, you scroll through your socials to see if Elon Musk has made another new purchase. Quickly scanning that article about how Machine Learning is trying to make homeschooling better, that’s a little different from our days!

You app Bart to ask if we’re kicking off the day today digitally or physically? “We’re going physical” Bart replies, and you get on your bike towards our office in the heart of Den Bosch. “Don’t forget your sports outfit and towel,” Bart replies, “because at the end of the afternoon we’re going to hit the padel court with some Rockstars colleagues. Pooh… luckily you saw the app just in time.

It’s quarter to nine and you take a quick peek at your calendar for the next few days before the 15-minute stand-up starts with Bart, Toon, Chris, Jeroen and intern Juul! Cosily busy, but what a party it’s going to be again:

Within our data label we are looking for someone with a Hearty Can Do Mentality (no is not an option!) who will help build the newest success within Team Rockstars. We will continue to build a community of amazing Data-Rockstars who will change the digital world of today and tomorrow and need to be serviced by the best IT agency in the Netherlands: Team Rockstars Data! To guide these stars in everything they need to shine, the focus in the first year will be on a combination of recruitment, sales and community building activities. Of course there is room to fine-tune the role according to your ambitions and wishes.
