As a Recruitment Specialist, you will be one of the first on board at these start-ups within the Rockstars family. No buttoned-up processes. No rationale you have to fit in. You are the driving force behind setting up a recruitment approach that fits the market, the label and the people we are looking for. You talk to the MT, experiment, adapt and adjust. Meanwhile, you bring on board the very best IT specialists who are not only technically excellent, but also fit the DNA of our story. You shift gears quickly, communicate powerfully and switch effortlessly between strategy and action. You are good at creating support, but it may still rub off a bit here. The puzzle is not finished. And that is exactly why you feel at home here.

Sounds great! But what specifically should you think about? Here’s a quick rundown:

  • You set up recruitment as befits a true start-up: with vision, speed and guts.
  • You will work with the MT to determine where we want to go and how recruitment will contribute to it
  • You find, talk to and convince top candidates your way. No standard intake: of course you can conduct introductory and selection interviews over a chai latte or double espresso, at a pokebowl dinner or in a climbing gym; the sky is the limit and the candidate is king. 😉
  • Organizing (offline and physical) events or other cool ideas to introduce IT professionals to the Rockstars method.
  • You know how to get people on board with your story: stakeholders, candidates and your own team.
  • You think and act. Today you build a strategy, tomorrow you conduct interviews, the day after tomorrow you test a new channel.
  • You use what is already there within Team Rockstars IT, but are not afraid to do things a little differently.
  • Investment in your professional and personal development through coaching tracks and training, entirely at our expense!

9:00-10:00: Squash or a short run in the morning. Your head is fresh, your ideas are bubbling.

10:00-11:00: Sparring with the MT of your start-up label: where are the opportunities this week?

11:00-12:00: Brainstorming a cool recruitment campaign. Is it TikTok or a developer BBQ?

13:00-15:00: First meeting with a candidate at a location of your choice – the freedom is yours.

15:00-17:00: Building a candidate journey that does impress. (Yes, that’s building too.)

19:30 – 20:30: Last-minute intake with an IT professional who is not available until after work. No problem – you move along.

9:00-10:00: Last-minute sync with the MT and account managers on client recruitment needs, where will your focus and priorities shift?

10:00-12:00: Screening profiles, spotting potential and making initial phone screening calls

13:00-14:00: Team meeting! Together with your chapter, you will meet over a poke or pizza to discuss the state of affairs

14:00-16:00: This time you will have an introductory interview at the office; can that potential IT Rockstar get a taste of the atmosphere right away!

16:00-17:00: Admin and arranging gifts for your candidates. Does the candidate love cycling? Nice you, just ordered that book on ultraracing.

9:00-10:00: Following up with candidates, they will continue in procedure!

10:00-12:00: Searching and approaching passive candidates through LinkedIn and other channels.

13:00-15:00: Organize and coordinate internal recruitment events. Recruitment = marketing = events.

15:00-16:00: Conduct negotiations with candidates on salary and conditions. You are flexible, but also clear.

16:00-17:00: Evaluation with the tech screener about a candidate’s tech screening: can this candidate keep up with the level?

9:00-10:00: Identifying areas for improvement of the recruitment process

10:00-11:00: You tap a post for LinkedIn about your week: honest, inspiring and a touch rebellious.

11:00-12:00: How do you make sure you attract candidates in a playful way? You connect quickly with marketing.

13:00-17:00: Call time! You approach potential candidates by phone

9:00-10:00: Admin and preparation for the day. Grab those capu oats or double espresso again!

10:00-12:00: Meet a potential IT Rockstar via an online whiteboard tool or physically. Whatever works.

13:00-14:00: Together with your manager, you will conduct walking 1 on 1. Just catch up and spout new ideas.

14:00-16:00: You send out that one last LinkedIn message on Friday afternoon or make one last call to the candidate who just signed on 😀

16:00-16:30: Coordinate with your chapter team on process progress and toast to the weekend!

  • You have experience in commercial (IT) recruitment, preferably within an agency or secondment provider. Entrepreneurship is in your fibers;
  • You switch effortlessly between strategy and action. You know how to make plans and how to execute them;
  • Stakeholder management is your second nature: you are a solid interlocutor, know how to gain trust and manage expectations;
  • You are a flexible team player and love speed, targets and making an impact;
  • You feel at home in a rapidly changing environment and can totally relate to our core values: HOERA (Cordial, Open, Energy, Rebellious, Ambition);
  • As a proactive Recruitment Specialist, you listen carefully, see opportunities and think in solutions. You come up with ideas that others had not yet thought of;
