As a Recruitment Specialist within our scale-up label, you take the wheel and are the driving force behind a tight recruitment process that combines both speed and quality. No ‘putting out fires’, but strategically building our recruitment machine. You see where things can be improved, dare to speak up and take people with you. As a gatekeeper, you are responsible for ensuring that only the best IT professionals get an exclusive spot within Team Rockstars IT. Hiring Managers, Account Managers, Talent Managers: you know exactly who you need when to bring the right candidate to the table at the right time with energy, flair and overview.
You work with a clear search strategy, take the lead in interviews and build strong relationships with your candidates. This can of course be done at one of our offices, from home, but also in all kinds of other places throughout the country, be creative! You coach them through the various rounds of interviews, so to speak. You ensure that the best software developers are introduced to the one and only Rockstars method where we really put our employees first and literally treat them like Rockstars. You promote this method as if you had invented it yourself. Candidates feel the difference and see that recruitment can be personal, rebellious and professional at the same time.
In short, we want to feel the WOW factor everywhere! You will be involved in recruitment in a playful way and from A to Z you will be in the lead on all activities concerning the inflow of new colleagues. Say bye bye to traditional recruitment!
Sounds great! But what specifically should you think about? Here’s a quick rundown:
- You put the candidate first. Anything is possible and we think BIG in this!
- You run your own processes from A to Z. With ownership, zest and overview
- You search, speak and select the best IT Rockstars through various (online and offline) channels in a personal and impactful way
- Organizing (offline and physical) events or other cool ideas to introduce IT professionals to the Rockstars method.
- Conducting introductory and selection interviews and coaching candidates over a nice chai latte or double espresso, at a pokebowl dinner or in a climbing gym; the sky is the limit and the candidate is king 😉
- You will spar with hiring managers, steer on KPIs, be keen on quality and conversion and think about innovation within the recruitment process of the scale-up label
- You will be in a dynamic recruitment team with your fellow Recruitment Specialists and you will interact a lot with the Account Manager(s) and Talent Manager(s), the region Managing Directors and team marketing and events
- You supervise the qualification process and are the liaison between candidate, management and the tech board with current IT Rockstars
- Investment in your professional and personal development through coaching tracks and training, entirely at our expense!
Agenda that energizes you
9:00-10:00: Kickstart your week with a workout or squash session. You provide the energy, we provide the impact
10:00-11:00: Reviewing job applications and scheduling introductory interviews. You’ll know exactly what to look for.
11:00-12:00: Spa moment with your fellow Recruitment Specialists: who are our top candidates of the week?
13:00-14:00: Weekly check-in with your hiring managers. Your stakeholder radar is always on.
14:00-16:00: An introductory meeting with a potential IT Rockstar at their favorite coffee shop. You make them feel at home.
16:00-17:30: Follow up on open applications and communication with applicants. Tight, complete and attentive.
19:30-20:30 Conducting an intake interview with a potential new Rockstar. You immediately feel: this could be one of them!
9:00-10:00: Consultation with sales and account managers. You know exactly what profiles are needed – and what is realistic
10:00-12:00: Screening profiles and conducting initial phone screening interviews; you will have a sharp selection on both content and vibe
13:00-14:00: Team meeting! Meet with your team to discuss the state of affairs, celebrate successes and address bottlenecks
14:00-16:00: This time you will have an introductory interview at the office; can that potential IT Rockstar get a taste of the atmosphere right away!
16:00-17:00: Admin and arranging gifts for your candidates. To which address does a book about their favorite hobby go? And will you choose a book about AI, or something about Star Wars after all?
9:00-10:00: Check-in: following up on candidates, managing the pipeline, looking ahead!
10:00-12:00: LinkedIn on, search mode on. Searching and approaching passive candidates via LinkedIn and other channels, you know how to filter out the gems.
13:00-15:00: Organizing and coordinating internal recruitment events. Targeted and with impact.
15:00-16:00: Conduct salary negotiations with candidates. You know how to balance market value and culture fit.
16:00-17:00: Evaluation with the tech board: substantive sparring about a candidate. You think along and ahead!
And once a quarter:
18:00 – 21:00: Chapter Meeting! The meeting where “your” entire chapter comes together.
8:30-9:30: You identify opportunities to tighten up processes. You like to optimize.
9:30:00-10:30: Writing a post for LinkedIn: substantive, sharp, with a wink.
10:30-11:30: You’re putting out a new sourcing campaign. How do you make sure you attract candidates in a playful way?
12:30-16:30: Call time! You approach potential candidates by phone and take ownership over your funnel.
9:00-10:00: Admin and preparation for the day. Grab those capu oats or double espresso again!
10:00-12:00: Meet a potential IT Rockstar
13:00-14:00: Together with your manager, you will conduct walking 1-on-1
14:00-16:00: You send out that one last LinkedIn message on Friday afternoon or make one last call to the candidate who just signed on 😀
16:00-16:30: Coordinate with your team on process progress and toast to the weekend!
16:30 Weekend mode: for those who feel like it, we toast to the week during our free mibo 🎉

- You have a commercial (IT) recruitment background, preferably within an agency or secondment provider;
- You work in a structured manner, easily switch between candidates and hiring managers, and maintain an overview when things get busy;
- As a proactive Recruitment Specialist, you listen well and have good empathy;
- Stakeholder management is your superpower. You read people, understand interests and know how to win trust and manage expectations;
- You are a flexible team player and love speed, targets and making an impact;
