As a Security Officer, you will be responsible for ensuring our clients’ information security. This includes developing, implementing and maintaining security policies, procedures and systems to protect the confidentiality, integrity and availability of information. As a Security Officer, you will serve as a central point of contact for all security-related matters.

What work can you expect to do, among other things?

  • Create, implement and update security policies, standards and guidelines consistent with client organization objectives and current threats.
  • Develop clear procedures and practices to ensure that security policies are consistently implemented and adhered to by all employees.
  • Identify potential threats and vulnerabilities through regular risk assessments and analysis.
  • Coordinate and lead actions to manage security incidents the cause and prevent recurrence.
  • Ensure all systems and processes comply with regulatory requirements and relevant industry standards.
  • Analyze and select security solutions that fit the needs and scale of the organization.

This is where you recognize yourself

Nobody fits all the boxes, but if you come very close to a perfect score you may call immediately!

  • HBO working and thinking level, preferably an education in ICT.
  • You have at least 3 years of experience in information security.
  • Experience developing and implementing security policies and procedures.
  • Experience in risk assessment and incident management.
  • Thorough knowledge of security principles, methods and techniques.
  • You have knowledge of one or more information security standards, such as ISO27001, NIS2, CRA, etc.
  • You hold at least one valid security certification For example: CSSP, CISM, CCSP or C/CISO
