What do we expect from you?

As a security analyst, you are our clients’ digital watchdog. Your mission? To outsmart hackers, keep systems secure and always stay one step ahead of cyber threats. You’ll do this with a mix of monitoring, incident response and strategic risk management. Work you can expect:

  1. Monitoring & Detection
  • You monitor networks, systems and applications like a hawk.
  • Log files and security alerts scan SIEM systems for suspicious activity.
  • You detect threats such as malware, DDoS attacks and data breaches – before they do any damage.
  • You are constantly thinking about recalibrating these systems, ensuring that as little can slip through as possible.
  1. Incident Response
  • Do you discover an incident? Then you dive in, analyze the impact and immediately put measures in motion.
  • You will work with forensic experts to fully understand and neutralize cyber attacks.
  1. Risk Analysis & Security Policy
  • You spot vulnerabilities in the IT infrastructure and perform in-depth risk analysis.
  • Based on this, you give concrete advice and establish smart security measures.
  • Security policies and protocols? You keep those up-to-date and future-proof.
  1. Penetration Testing & Vulnerability Management
  • You will test systems for vulnerabilities and advise on patches and updates.
  • No vulnerability goes unseen – you make sure the defense remains foolproof.
  1. Awareness & Training
  • Employees? You make them aware of cybersecurity risks with training and realistic simulations (such as phishing tests).
  • You will advise IT teams and management on the best cybersecurity strategies.
  1. Compliance & Regulatory Affairs
  • You ensure that the organization complies with laws and regulations such as AVG (GDPR), ISO 27001 and NIST.
  • Security risks and compliance issues? You map them out clearly for stakeholders.

With these skills, you rock the role!

  • You have a completed college or university education. Preferably in cybersecurity or software engineering.
  • You have at least 2 years of experience as a security analyst.
  • Knowledge of endpoint, application and network security, among others, and experience using xDR solutions.
  • Demonstrated experience with Vulnerability Management, monitoring tools & detection methods
  • You hold at least one valid security certification in a technical field. For example, OSCP, GCIH, GMON, GCIA, AWS Certified Security, Microsoft Certified: Azure Security Engineer or you are willing to obtain it.
  • Knowledge of operating system security, networking and secure development methods
  • You have experience with SIEM/SOAR tools such as Splunk, Elastic or Sentinel.
  • You have knowledge of at least one cloud platform.
  • You have knowledge of one or more information security standards, such as ISO27001, NIS2, CRA, etc.
