Team Rockstars Since its inception in 2015, IT has grown to become a top-3 developer house in the Netherlands with a team of 600 selected Software Developers. On a project basis, they develop IT solutions for our customers. We are growing fast and our ambitions are endless. Within Team Rockstars IT, passion and fun come together. Our style is different. Ten years ago Bart Nijskens (37, bon vivant and proud father from Vught), together with Laurens Simonse and Tijs Luijbregts, started an ambitious adventure with one clear goal: to turn the world of IT Consultancy completely upside down. How? With a simple but powerful philosophy: happiness is the engine behind success.

We are all about talent development and job satisfaction. Employees are not numbers, but ‘Rockstars’! And thanks to our ‘People First’ approach, we reap the benefits of this every day.

The result? As many as 600 Rockstars in our iconic yellow and black colors, making an impact with passion and fun with our customers.

About 2.5 years ago, we brought a new dream to life: Team Rockstars Data. This label is all about building a vibrant community of the best data professionals in the Netherlands. Together we make the difference at leading clients such as KPN, Alliander, Essent and Rabobank.

Today, our data community already stands at 60 Happy Engineers, working on challenging projects and inspiring each other to grow. Behind this community is a dedicated HQ team with experienced Account Managers, Talent Managers and Recruitment Consultants. Together we are now ready for the next step: growing to 150 Happy Developers and positioning ourselves as the partner for data solutions in the Netherlands.

Your mission: to connect and grow

As a Recruitment Consultant in our close-knit team, you will work directly with Jeroen (Sales Manager) and Michael (Talent Manager). Together you are responsible for Chapter West (Amsterdam, Rotterdam and The Hague). Your focus is on:

  • Finding and engaging the best Data Engineers, Machine Learning and AI Engineers.
  • Hosting our inspiring recurring event “Data Rocks,” where community, knowledge sharing and innovation come together.
  • Strengthening our data community through cool activities and strong connection with customers and colleagues. You are free to let your creativity run wild!

A week as a Recruitment Consultant at Team Rockstars Data

A typical week at our HQ team is anything but boring. With 7 colleagues divided between the disciplines of Sales, Recruitment, Talent Management and Events, we start the week sharp with a physical or online meeting. We discuss full sales and recruitment funnels, share insights from the data community and make concrete plans to respond to signals. Here we coach each other and work together for growth and impact.

What else can you expect in the role as a Recruitment Consultant?

  • Intakes with candidates: You speak to talented Data Engineers and Machine Learning specialists and discover if they are a perfect fit for our community.
  • Brainstorming sessions with colleagues: work with Marketing and Events on creative ways to further strengthen our community and make it more visible.
  • Social referrals: You are responsible for getting social referrals off the ground in a variety of creative ways. Whether you come up with an incentive or have a nice lunch in the hometown of one of our Rockstars…. It’s up to you!
  • Freedom: We start the week together, after the week starts you are in control of how you organize your week. Whether it’s call appointments, client visits or creative campaigns, you are in control.

    • Has an HBO / WO background;
    • Has at least 2 years of experience in recruitment;

    • Living in the area of Amsterdam, Rotterdam, The Hague;
