This is what energizes you

As a Principal Consultant, your commercial and technical influence is incredibly strong within Team Rockstars IT. You are at the center of selling projects and making them happen. Within this role, you will be technically responsible for the development of Test Automation strategy along with its implementations at customer sites. Your love of technology and your communication skills will ensure that we make maximum impact with our clients! You qualify as a thought leader, like to go the extra mile and excel at being able to link the right implementations to solving (strategic) issues at clients. It is up to you to recommend these solutions yourself and have them realized. Skills and experience in being able to understand the problem and solution before engaging in engineering are therefore essential. Through your strength in analyzing the current customer environment, you advise on transformation strategies. In addition, you will help better shape the vision of the Test Automation tribe. Our clients engage our Principal Consultants and IT Rockstars for consulting, migration and implementation. You determine, based on your experience and insights, which of these principles apply when solving client issues. Translating these solutions back into a repeatable solution ensures that more customers can benefit from your good ideas. Connecting yourself with short lines to your Principal Consultant peers in the CTO Office and internal communities like our Tribes and Special Agents will give you the energy and support you need to really shine in your work!

Of course, this schedule can vary from week to week depending on client needs and internal developments. It is important to be flexible and able to move quickly to get the best results 😉 09:00-10:00 – Week begins! Grab your cup of coffee or tea at the internal meeting with CTO Office and Principal Consultant peers to stay abreast of the latest developments within the company. 10:00-12:00 – Discussing a new project with a client and advising on the best strategies for Test Automation implementation. 13:00-15:00 – Working on developing a vision for the Test Automation tribe. 15:00-17:00 – Consultation with the team on how to put the vision into practice.

  09:00-10:00 – Discussion with a client about the progress of the project. 10:00-12:00 – Working out a solution to a strategic issue with a client. 13:00-15:00 – Give presentation to management on the development of the Test Automation vision. 15:00-17:00 – Working with the team to further develop and implement the vision.

  09:00-10:00 – Internal meeting with the Test Automation Tribe to discuss progress. 10:00-12:00 – Advise a client on the best Front-end and Mobile implementation strategies. 13:00-15:00 – Working on developing a transformation strategy for a client. 15:00-17:00 – Consultation with the team on how to implement the transformation strategy.

  09:00-10:00 – Discussion with a client about the progress of the project. 10:00-12:00 – Working out a solution to a strategic issue with a client. 13:00-15:00 – Consult with the team on how to implement the solution. 15:00-17:00 – Preparing for an international stage to express our vision.

  09:00-10:00 – Internal meeting with the CTO office to discuss progress. 10:00-12:00 – Developing a plan for promoting our vision on an international stage. 13:00-15:00 – Work on developing a repeatable solution for a client. 15:00-17:00 – Consultation with the team on how to implement and optimize the repeatable solution while enjoying (non) alcoholic refreshments. This is where you recognize yourself

Nobody fits all the boxes, but if you come very close to a perfect score you may call immediately!

  • You have 10 years of experience in software development.
  • You have extensive knowledge of Test Automation engineering.
  • Your consulting skills are highly developed, you are able to define the vision together with the client.
  • You are able to develop the Team Rockstars Test Automation vision and execute a concrete plan for this.
  • Propagating your vision on a local and international stage is no stranger to you (with our support, of course 😉).
  • You have complete freedom of choice and control over your work; this requires entrepreneurship and flexibility.
  • You have a college or university degree within IT;
  • You feel comfortable in a dynamic environment and can totally relate to our core values: HOERA (Cordial, Open, Energy, Rebellious, Ambition).
