With our close-knit People & Culture team of 7 strong, we have been making an impact on our employees’ job happiness for quite some time. We want to generate the “wow” factor in everything and truly have employee happiness at number one. This takes a lot of input, entrepreneurship and creativity; especially as a business partner within our P&C team!
In this role, you will spend approximately 1/3 of your time as a sparring partner for the West Region. You will think along, ask critical questions and work together to ensure the region and teams function optimally.
The remaining 2/3 of your time will be spent on processes and projects. You will work on translating the national People & Culture strategy into practical and workable processes, with the aim of contributing to the broader organizational objectives. You can also think of projects such as further developing the talents of the regional team, improving HR systems and strengthening our approach to absenteeism.
What will your duties look like:
- You will be a member of the region team and region MT, where you will agenda issues that matter at the P&C level and think along with general topics;
- 1 on 1 meetings with Region & Staff Managers on progress and challenges within the teams.
- Onboarding process guide new colleagues in the region in their first 90 days so they can start successfully;
- Supervise improvement projects;
- Supervising absenteeism processes;
- Point of contact for employment law issues;
- Analyze and present Happiness analyses;
- Co-responsible for team building in the region;
- Answering non-standard questions from colleagues in the region to arrive at appropriate customized solutions.
This is where you recognize yourself
- HBO / WO background;
- Minimum of 5 years relevant experience in an HR field;
- Full-time (minimum 32) hours available;
- Living in the area of Amsterdam, Rotterdam, The Hague (this will be the region you will be responsible for, we have an office in both Amsterdam and Rotterdam, but we also work with the P&C team at least one day a week physically at our office in Den Bosch);
- You are someone who possesses a positive, proactive attitude;
- You have excellent communication skills, you know your way around our organization quickly and can quickly build rapport with our stakeholders;
