your mission

As a Medior Online Marketer, you will be the brains behind our online campaigns. This means that you will be responsible for setting up, managing and optimizing online campaigns aimed at both B2B (contacts at our sides and prospects) and B2C (the developers and engineers) target groups. You will work with tools such as Google Analytics, Google Ads, Tag Manager, Semrush and LinkedIn Ads to spotlight our propositions (such as “Rockstar at 1,” “Rocksolid Software,” “Rockstars Valley,” or “Team Rockstars Data. Your creativity knows no bounds to get the most out of your lead generation.

You will work closely with our Lead Digital Marketer and report to her on the performance of your campaigns.

As a medior Online Marketer, you will not only be responsible for creating and optimizing online campaigns, but also for maintaining a close working relationship with the recruiters and B2B marketers of Team Rockstars IT. Together you will ensure a well-oiled machine between lead generation and follow-up, with the goal of recruiting top (senior) candidates and MQLs (B2B prospects) within the IT sector.

09:00 – 10:00: Start the week with a standup with team digital. Discuss goals for this week and share any updates.

10:00 – 12:00: Analyze the results of last weekend’s campaigns using Google Analytics and Semrush. Identify trends and opportunities for optimization.

12:00 – 13:00: Lunch break.

13:00 – 14:00: Strategic session with the Lead Digital Marketer. Discuss new ideas and optimization opportunities for upcoming campaigns.

14:00 – 15:30: Marketing Consultation with the whole team!

15:30 – 17:00 Work on setting up new online campaigns and optimize existing campaigns on Google AdWords and LinkedIn Ads.

Tuesday: Recruitment Synergy Session

09:00 – 10:00: Consultation with Team Rockstars IT recruiters. Gain insights into the target audience and discuss recent leads and their conversion.

10:00 – 12:00: Work on preparing reports related to lead generation and online visibility for recruitment purposes.

12:00 – 13:00: Lunch break.

13:00 – 15:00: Brainstorm on possible synergy between online marketing campaigns and recruitment activities. Identify opportunities for collaboration.

15:00 – 17:30: Work on implementing new strategies and campaigns to improve the synergy between marketing and recruitment.

Wednesday: Tool Time

09:00 – 10:00: In-depth training session on new features and capabilities of Google Analytics and Google AdWords.

10:00 – 12:00: Work on analyzing campaign results and identifying optimization opportunities using Google Tag Manager.

12:00 – 13:00: Lunch break.

13:00 – 15:00: Delve into the functionalities of Semrush and LinkedIn Ads. Discover new ways to increase our online visibility.

15:00 – 17:30: Implement new insights and strategies in current campaigns and prepare new campaigns. Schedule consultations with the B2B marketer as needed for adjustments on B2B campaigns.

Thursday: B2B Day

09:00 – 10:00: You will analyze the results of ongoing B2B campaigns and create a concise report with highlights and opportunities for the senior B2B marketer.

10:00 – 12:00: After a stand-up with the B2B marketers in which you take them through your findings and opportunities, you’ll get to work implementing any new directions and opportunities for growth.

12:00 – 13:00: Lunch break.

13:00 – 15:00: Create or optimize campaigns around our B2B content, such as white papers, case studies and videos. Ensure that the message of your campaigns aligns with the needs and challenges of our business clients.

15:00 – 17:30: Optimize B2B campaigns across channels, including LinkedIn Ads and targeted email marketing. Experiment with new targeting options and messaging to increase engagement and conversions.

Friday: Feedback Fiesta

09:00 – 10:00: Review and make sense of your feedback and successes from the week.

10:00 – 12:00: Discuss individual accomplishments and goals with the Lead Digital Marketer.

12:00 – 13:00: Lunch break.

13:00 – 15:00: Work on preparing a detailed report on the week’s performance, including campaign results and recommendations for improvement.

15:00 – 17:30: Reflection on the week and preparation for the coming week. Create an action plan for next steps and goals. Share this with the marketing team.

Nobody fits all the boxes, but if you come very close to a perfect score you may call immediately!

  • You have 3-5 years of experience in online marketing and know the tricks of the trade like the inside of your pocket.
  • You are an analytic at heart and see opportunities in numbers that others do not. Your insights are sharper than a knife.
  • Google Analytics, Google AdWords, Tag Manager? You don’t turn your hand to it. The technical side of online marketing holds no secrets for you.
  • You have a track record in generating leads and boosting the online visibility of propositions, events and trade shows.
  • Are you familiar in the world of technology and IT, and know exactly where the IT pros hang out online? If so, that is a very big plus.
  • You are an active networker, target driven, creative and a perseverer;
