As strategic account manager, you will further expand our cool concept with focus customers and prospects within our region of the provinces of Utrecht, Gelderland, Overijssel, Drenthe, Friesland and Groningen. Through your knowledge of the market and intrinsic motivation to help customers, you identify opportunities, know what questions are at stake, think about strategy and are able to translate business issues into our services – IT projects and software built by our IT Rockstars. You are able to be a full discussion partner for both management and, for example, Product Owners. You don’t do that alone. You know how to set up an account team and mobilize your own organization to position the best of Team Rockstars IT with clients. We think big and a lot is possible to achieve a 9+ experience with both the client and our Rockstars!

This is what energizes you:

  • Full sales & account ownership – from origination to closing deals and from relationship & account management to building your network on a plant-by-plant basis;
  • Identify DMUs, actively work with them and use them to quickly build a network;
  • Work in a multidisciplinary team: you will collaborate with our IT recruiters, Talent Managers, CTO office, Marketing and IT Rockstars from your region;
  • Together with your team, make sure your region rocks!

This is where you recognize yourself

  • You have at least 5 years of relevant sales experience within IT; services/software development and/or secondment market;
  • You are proactive and know how to set up and manage an account team;
  • You are able to translate business themes into IT/software and solutions;
  • You are a full discussion partner from management to operations (such as Product Owners & Scrum Masters) and know perfectly how multi-level selling works;
  • You are an active networker, target driven, creative and a perseverer;
  • Because of the region focus, you will be living in the Utrecht, Gelderland or Overijssel region;
  • You have a college or university degree;
  • You can totally relate to our core values: HOERA (Warm, Open, Energetic, Rebellious, Ambitious);
  • You have an active network and industry knowledge of one of the following sectors; Software, Technology & Media, Finance & Insurance, Manufacturing, Retail & Consumer Services;
  • You are able and willing in your role to switch between being a strategic IT partner for the client and finding the best match for our IT Rockstars.
