As Sales Manager, you are not just another team leader; you are the captain of our regional sales team, setting the course and inspiring the troops to achieve results together.

In this role, you will be the visionary who helps shape the national sales strategy and translate it into concrete tactical and operational plans for your region. Together with the region’s Managing Director, you will develop a plan that is not only ambitious, but also realistic and achievable. You make sure the team knows what to do and how to go about it.

You are a familiar face in the regional MT meetings, where you represent the interests and successes of your team. Leading the regional sales team is more than a job for you; it is an opportunity to coach, inspire and grow. On a daily basis, you help your team members develop their skills and take them to the next level of professional maturity.

Strategic account planning and managing for output is important to you. Not only do you manage the formatting and use of these plans, but you are also continuously improving and optimizing them. It makes sense for you to monitor objectives and take action on trends you see in the output. On this you initiate initiatives.

Customer visits, both independently and with your team, are an opportunity for you to spot new opportunities and capitalize on existing ones. You will actively take on a commercial role, taking responsibility for one or more accounts and setting an example for the team.

You will work closely with departments such as recruitment for aligning client needs and with B2B marketing to drive our branding and account engagement. Your availability is rockstar-level;

Responsibilities

In this role, you will be responsible for multiple commercial accounts across various industries within our growing portfolio of software development, data and cloud. You are the link between Rockstars IT and our customers, and you ensure that these relationships are not only maintained, but continually improved.

You are also the bridge to our technology partners and brokers. By establishing and maintaining strong relationships with these parties, you will ensure that we can offer a diverse and powerful portfolio. These strategic collaborations help achieve our regional revenue goals.

One of your main missions is to deliver a 9+ experience for our IT Rockstars as well as your own sales team. You understand that satisfaction on both sides is critical to long-term success. Therefore, you work hard on customer satisfaction (KTO) in your region and contribute to achieving Rockstar satisfaction (RTO) by offering the challenging assignments.

We believe you can make a difference with your experience and enthusiasm on the following topics.

Experience that matters: You have more than 7 years of relevant sales experience in IT services (secondment, consulting & projects). You know how to play the market and have proven results. You are both commercially and IT content strong and you can communicate at level with C-level on business and IT of companies such as Essent, Alliander, ASML, KPN, Ministries and ZBOs within the government. You have a “can do” mentality and do not shy away from ambitious growth targets. You can switch between getting things moving and sometimes operationalizing and directing.

Leadership with impact: You are not only a leader, but also an inspiration. You know how to enthuse your team and take them to greater heights. As a cooperating foreman/woman, you set a good example yourself and inspire your team through your own efforts and results. You are the driving force that motivates others to perform their best.

Managing KPIs and results: You are an adept at managing multiple KPIs and know exactly which ones are prioritized at what time. You are goal-oriented, creative in your approach, and a perseverer who does not give up until goals are achieved.

Networker and innovator: You are an active networker who thinks outside the box. You have a broad view of the sales profession and have an excellent ability to translate customer needs into our services and propositions. You are the one making the connections that matter.

Strategically Based: We prefer someone who lives in Utrecht, Gelderland, or Overijssel, so you are always close by at our regional office as well as with our clients.

Knowledge and Education: You have a college or university degree, demonstrating that you have the necessary knowledge and skills to excel in this role. You have the theoretical basis as well as the practical experience to take our sales strategy to the next level.

  • Depending on your relevant work experience, your salary will be between €6,000 and €8,500 gross per month based on a 40-hour work week, topped off with a flexible mobility policy, an attractive bonus, home office allowance, and of course a company laptop and phone.
